A BRIEF HISTORY OF CROATIA

Writing a book on the history of Croatia and on such a recent war (the war in Croatia 1991-1995) is complicated, especially if it has been suffered in first person, as is the case of the author. An account that analyzes the geopolitical evolution of the area from the Roman Empire to the present day, to explain the war phenomena in the region and its specific circumstances (political, cultural, religious and ethnic), and thus clarify the mediate and immediate causes that led to the last war in the nineties of the last century, from a proactive perspective, which tries with its analysis to obtain lessons that prevent the mistakes of the past from being committed again.
