This essay illustrates how Philip II redirected royal power from the perspective of church and social order. They consist of authority modulations or varieties geographically different that crystallized between 1570 and 1590, respectively, for Peru and New Spain. The author characterizes the process and verifies its normalization until the first decade of XVIIth century.
