Codes and Cryptography: Coding Information with Python Projects

This book is a survey about coding information in binary, from compression codes to error-correcting codes a secret codes. The book is addressed mainly to Engineering students (Computer Science and Telecommunications), with proposals of Python projects to evaluate the contents of the subject, although it can also be used by Mathematics students. A basic knowledge of the Python language is supposed, but some appendices include the use of specific libraries to carry out the projects.
